So I read the following story today, while waiting for my Operating Systems partner, and would like to comment on it.
Would like to comment on the following statement:
it ’s not just Play which is seeing healthy pre-orders for PS3, according to Sony. A spokesperson told GI.biz, “With an unprecedented day one shipment of 1 million machines into Europe and a software catalogue of over 30 titles available at launch, retailer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
I have several issues with the statement above, the first statement is that Nintendo’s newest console “the Wii” had alot more then a million consoles sold on its launch, my question to Sony is the following. How can you be proud of only having a million units for the European market that, lets face it, is several times larger then Japan and includes several other nations.
I don’t have to say that, I don’t believe the Sony’s claim for one minute, considering I can’t believe a 2,000,000 people didn’t pre-order the Nintendo Wii.
* I did a rough estimate of the numbers.
