I just wanted to say “Thank You” to the fine officers that work within the USF Police Department. As many of you know, there was a shooting on campus a few weeks ago, well recently the shooters were found, incase anyone wants to read about the story here is a link.

As my friends might know, I have a personal interest in the fact they have been caught, as I live in the dorms where it happen. Who would have guessed, we have a great football team and a great police department :-)

Go Bulls!

It might be a little early to call the game, but neither team played very good, Miami just was able to score thanks to our turnovers. I don’t think we did bad, considering they also had 4+ turnovers, a team of their quality shouldn’t have done that. Perhaps we have a few more years at the top, before we can go another team’s domain, and rock their world. We will see how good the Bulls do next week, I still have faith in them, it always takes a bad game to turn a team around.

What happens when you mix an unknown florida school with a football team full of good talent, you get a school that went without a second glance to the golden story every sports writter will talk about. You have to ask yourself, is this great story of the unknown second class talent going to spoil it for them, I would have to say it won’t. The only reason it won’t is because the player’s are doing what they should, they are playing the game, and they are playing to win.

For as many years as I have watched football, I have seen my team lose after they started only to talk and not actually do the walking. Will USF make history, by going as far as schools with years of experience have gone, I sure hope so. After 9 years, the true talent of Florida will be shown, and we will know once and for all what South Florida does best.

Did I mention GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bulls and Da Bucs!!!

I have noticed for the last few weeks, our sports writters and editor have not had alot of hope for our 3-1 team, its sort of sad when fellow students don’t even think we have a chance against a given team. I suppose you have to be honest who would have thought we would have won, well I will tell you who, I did…and I was going to go to the game before I even read what was suppose to happen. This team ranked 9th from Louisville thats full of so called great players that were suppose to show up in last weeks game, who didn’t even seem to show up really, failed to impress me with thier 14 points after 60 minutes.

I have told everyone of my professors, when I read The Oracle that day, that the writters “flip flop” more then John Kerry which was alot of you remember. Although after 3 days of basicly saying they were wrong, as well as everyone that didn’t believe in USF, they started to write a different story.

This story was not that of a underdog but of a backyard dog, perhaps rough around the edges but still worth giving some love to. I hope the staff at The Oracle will read this, and in the future, show some school spirit even if its miss placed. There is one thing that even the best college teams need, is people to believe in them, and not doubt them even if the odds are not on their side.

I have to believe that if I went to UF or FSU, I would have never seen the things written in their school paper, it would only be good things to say. I understand you have to be honest to your readers, but at least give us some hope, even if their is no chance. I will honor the team, because I will be the one, to give hope to students for our team to win. Of course now that everyone thinks we can win, perhaps I should turn to the Dark Side but that wouldn’t be fun now would it.

Once again, I joined thousands of students to cheer on our team, and once again WE ONE.

I am not really shocked of course, we made 4 touchdowns and one field goal, I wonder if we can make it 5 next week? As long as the Bulls wins, I plan to go to every home game, I don’t want to stop going then have us lose.

So Joe and Josh, better get ahead guys, because we are going to alot of games this year. It is the last semester, that we can hang out with, Joe even if he is an EE student. Yes you heard me Joe, EE students are geeks, CSE students are C00L

Although we might live in another world, that we have to create ( aka EverCrack ), but nobody can beat my level 69 Paladin.

* Its 2007 and I read this post, and I have no idea what I was talking about to be honest.

Well my friend ( Josh ) and I went to the game, after spending almost $28 because we missed the Bull Runner ( we took a taxi ), we found some great seats near the field. Of course we had alot to cheer about, due to the multiple touchdowns and fieldgoals in the first half. Of course the chick playing with a guys nipple rings was sort of strange, but gave us something more impressive then watching FAMU’s offensive trying to score. The reject cheerleaders as I put it, were really funny, by the fact they had “Go Bulls” upside down on their t-shirts.

Lets see 3 weeks down, 15 more to go, till another semester starts.

I am going to my second USF Bull’s game tommorow with my friend Josh, I do hope for a nice night, would hate to have to sit in the rain.

I am sitting here, at 8:11 AM waiting for a response on something imporant, while I pack to move back to my dorm life. I have alot of good memories from my first year on my own, majority of them were during the second semester. I have to thank Josh, Joe, and Chris for a great second semester, I will never forget the night Joe got drunk when we went out that one night.

I am I looking forward to meeting 3 brand new people, who will either make my life filled with adventure, or have dream about conflict. Clearly I am looking to new adventures that are enjoyable for all, and introduce me to the greater things in life. I of course will be spending time with Chris and Josh, somebody needs to keep Chris off the street.

Anyways I am going to end this post, on that note, and get back to work. I expect to write about my life alot this year, for a grand “thank you” for my parents when I graduate.

I am sitting here writting this post, thinking to myself how much I love my parents, they are giving up so much for me so that I can go to college full-time. I have always been a good student, and have been able to retain most of what I learn, although recently I have found the joy of “guys night out”, till this year I had never really experienced it.

I don’t want give the wrong impression I did take school serious, but I was never the kind of kid that would go hang out with kids my own age, I have always been mature for my age. There was also the fact, because the friends I did have, started to gain different interest I had no desire to be around them. I wasn’t the social outkast by a long shot, I always wasn’t the kind of guy that the girls were crazy about, but thats an entire different story. I look back at my High School days and I have a few girls I wish I had talked to, if I ever get another chance, I just might do a hail mary with my heart.

I suppose I should get back on topic, I am going to thank Josh and Chris for being real good friends, they showed me not everyone is a jerk something I had started to forget because of my past friends. On the topic of Josh and Chris, if you know them, you would like them. I was going to make fun of something that happen to Chris during the year, but I thought I should remove it since it might hurt his feelings, so instead I will just say to him “be sure you have alot of cleaner this year”.

Josh is another story, I know he will be reading this since I gave him a link to my blog, I hope you know what you have with your girlfriend is special. I have only meet one other person that had something like you two have, its really something special, I am sad to say I am unsure of what happen to my friend and his girlfriend.

I suppose I shouldn’t forget about Joe, this guy was a study person, but he knew his beer. Although he really didn’t suggest anything that turned out to be on my extreme taste, I suppose I am a rum person…With that comment making it public that I really like rum, I end this post.

I wanted to add the following:
Josh, Chris, you guys need lots of rum I will be over after I am mov in to my dorm room.

Josh I am sorry I don’t know how to spell your girlfriends name, I feel really bad about that.
